I asked a bunch of questions and judging by their answers I will probably give it a try. It'll be nice to have a salt calibrated for my reef and I can change it as the needs of the reef change.

I don't think I would try it if my tank was established but since I am basically starting over I have. Otho g to use.
The part I like most is you can buffer it yourself. Once you get the mix you want you wouldn't have to change it except maybe once or twice a year.
The shipping is more than the salt but if you buy two boxes it worked out to around $37.00 a box which is still cheap.

I like my red sea salt. Its cheap and gives me the params I like and made from sea water. Personally see no reason to change or use more expensive salts.

I am intrigued by it, but it is hard to get myself to try out a dirt cheap no name product with no trusted reviews when living things need it tobe of quality to live. It is not like trying out a new expensive salt from a known source as there is a level of trust and a cost based assumption that they must be using using high quality raw materials.
