My bubble tip anemone was doing okay in the picture, which I have circled in red. However, I just found out that it has completely squeezed back into the hole. What should I do about that? Thank you for helping.

We would need way more information.

Please try to answer these questions to the best of your ability.

- How long has it been in your tank?
-Tank parameters?
- How are other invertebrates doing, if any?
- Any recent additions to the tank?
- Have you dosed/medicated the tank with something recently?

Adding to above, how old is the tank and what lighting is being used? Was it bought locally or shipped and acclimation procedure?

As to what to do now you shouldn't try to get hands on. Anemone will go where they want. Hiding is natural when first introduced.

If you aren’t already testing for alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium I’d do so and post it here, those are all very important. Especially Alk and Mag.

I have found that in the past when my magnesium was low my duncan corals wouldn’t open up and my bubble tip ran for shade and closed up till I got it back up to 1350ppm.
