To celebrate the 2nd time whole tank fish died to velvet/ich, 2nd time after half year with no fish :)

I made sure to QT my fish this second time... still hits me after 1 month. I have officially lost more fish than corals in my 4 years reefing now.

I'm sure someone will tell me I'm wrong, but we use Safety Stop instead of QTing and we've had a lot of luck with it. Haven't lost a fish using it and I've taken a very ich prone Fox Face out of the problem tank, dipped him with safety stop and added him to our 180 gallon tank. Its been a few months and still no sign of ich.

I'm shattered b/c it's the worst feeling to lose fish. Wish there was an 'Ich be Gone' in a bottle that could be added to the DT with no ill effect on the other living things. Seems like we have every other thing a bottle but this. :mad:
