I currently drip kalkwasser,( I mix up 10 gallons every week) I have a dosing pumps for alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium
I have a 265 reef it’s in the wall. I have a room behind it. I call it a.k.a. my “Fish room”.
Question is this
Why can’t I just mix up all one reef and just drip that in my tank continuously like I’m doing with kakwasser now?
It seems like that would be the most simple way

Do you mean Tropic Marin All for Reef?

If yes, then You can. It may not be necessary to slowly add AFR, since the alk slowly appears after you add it, but there’s no reason you cannot.

Are you talking about discontinuing kalk and going with only afr? If so you may loose any ph benefit from the kalk. And obviously you will want to check your parameters alk, calc, mag(?) to make sure they are not becoming out of whack.

Yes, tropic marine all for reef
It just seems like that would be the easiest way
I will take any feedback
Why would I change something that’s not broken?
I’ve had my reef tank for 20 years. I’ve always have tinkered with things.
(that’s what we do)

There is no doubt that AFR is one of the easiest way to maintain things in acceptable ranges.

It is not always the best way, IMO, depending on your goals and budget, but it will work fine.
