Yes sir I was trying to lower nutrients down and I have a nano system so everyone says large wc would the best way so I did and here I am lol

Are you sure the alk checker is accurate?

That said, normal alk for either normal IO or reef Crystals is quite high and may be above 11 dKH. If you used tap water to make it, it might be far higher.

No, its not.

Normal IO typically has alk close to but lower then Reef Crystals.
Thank you for clearing this up, they do not sell this brand over here so I just assumed their offerings are similar to other brands I know.
Although, I fail to understand the reasoning behind having 2 very similar salts in terms of element levels.
Am I missing something?

Used rodi water and I compared Hanna api and redsea alll read the same io mixed at 11dkh after I mixed the dry mix up before I mixed it was off the charts high way over 13dkh

Normal IO is cheaper and Reef Crystals is marketed more for reefs, but alk is high in both and I personally prefer normal IO for reefs.
