Alk is rising 0.1dkh per day. I'm already at 11.8 and I'm leaving on vacation in 6 days.

Stop my Alk from rising each day?

It seems to be a carbon source, which might be reducing my elevated nitrates causing my Alk to raise a bit each day or 2.

I don't know. It's the only thing being added to the tank that wasn't before 2 months ago and now my alk is higher and sometime raising.

I meant dosing it at all. What for?

Ho sorry, for my Macro Algaes spread around the tank

If the goal is to help macroalgae, a product such as Tropic Marin A and K will provide what they generally need added without concerns about organic dosing.

So my new salt mix after adding sodium bisulfate 24h ago is giving me an alk of 3.4 and a ph of 7.4 - 7.7.

My tank is a 10.9dkh and 8.0 ph, this would make a 0.74 dkh drop.

All good to go?
