One day! I am hoping to find people who are willing to give me frags for shipping cost because I know once things start going back to normal and I’m not getting this extra federal income I will be penny pinching again. :/ life of a grad student.

I have been waiting for a post like this!! I'm in the OKC metro area and I will give you soooo many corals when you are ready. Free corals and no shipping cost since we are neighbors. I have LPS, SPS, green hairy mushrooms, anemones and more that are 6 years old and just keep growing. I can seriously stock your new tank once it's stable. I fragged my Walt Disney acro last week but I have no outlet for giving away my frags. I have at least 20 heads of green Octospawn that need a new home since I've moved in the direction of acro-dominant reef.

Not much going on. Just wanted to say, these snails are KNOCKING out the diatoms. Definitely didn’t have enough with the upgrade but after night one, I have complete faith that there’s enough CUC in here now.
so ready for the dry rock to start changing color. I know it’s gonna take months. But I’m readyyyyyyy.
also. Peep the angel, she’s finally getting brave now. And the YWG made a 1 minute appearance yesterday.
I had a BIG OLE OOPS yesterday and my auto feeder dumped a buttload of pellets into the tank. I netted out as much as I could.
I haven’t pictured it, but I also got some cheato with the CUC. Tested the water this morning, and I have zero nitrates. With a little ball of cheato slightly smaller than a tennis ball.
im super happy now that I finally have my clowns!!! It just feels like the tank is complete. Idk it’s weird.
but I’m gonna TRY my HARDEST to not buy anything all week next week. Then make the amazon purchase for the 40#dry rock.
Then probably add some blue chromis....
Then the RODI unit is getting installed (I have the unit just have to buy all new media) also. Anyone know how to put these guys together??? This thing is 100% in pieces....

refugium light came in today!
Thinking about running to Lowe’s some time in the near future to get some plywood and paint/water seal to drill all my electric to. Currently have the power strip heavy duty Velcro’d to the wall, but I can’t mount my Current USA light control system or my ATO without screws... and well, this is a steel stand... so...

also on another note I was curious with you alls thoughts. Obviously I need more PAR in the tank when I get corals, so should I add a second LED or go for a ballast and some T5s?

And do I need to get some pods and phyto for the fuge???
