Hey, Sorry if it's the wrong forum...

Could someone identify this leaf type algae for me please? And should I rip it out or let the pods feast.

3 months in and these have just started appearing (whites on high just for photos)

looks like sea lettuce/ulva to me. Most herbivores will be happy to eat it, such as tangs. Crabs and angels also eat it in my experience.

Ah thanks all! Just had a google and it looks like that's what it is. Spent hours googling different types of algae and nothing looked like it.

None of my cuc climb up to the peaks of my rockwork, so any growing lower must be getting munched.
