First time poster, longtime reader of reef2reef!
I currently have a 29 gallon FOWLR tank that I've had for two years; I've had a lot of success with it. I love this hobby, and I'm now ready to get a large reef tank, probably in the 125-170 gallon range (i.e., just big enough to house a tang or two if possible)
I'd like your input on a used 140 gallon acrylic aquarium that (I think) comes with just about everything I'd need to get the system up and running. Here are some pictures and details:
So what do you all think? Is this worth it? I'm paranoid about a tank busting, and I've never had an acrylic tank before. One thing to note - the tank is more than 2 hours away, so I can't easily stop by and see it in person.
I'm debating if I should jump on this opportunity, or just save up to get a Waterbox, Innovative Marine, or ProStar aquarium (~150 gallon display volume), as I've heard great things about all three of them.
I appreciate any advice you can provide!
