Looking at having a custom 185 aquarium built and heard that acrylic may show cloudiness over the long term and to consider glass instead. I'm looking at top acrylic manufacturers such as Titan and wanted to how it will last and display over the long term. Any input? Thank you

That's a myth. Acrylic won't show cloudiness. Besides, it can be buffed clear if needed. All of the public aquariums are using acrylic. If built correctly, it can last over 20 years and beyond.
