How long should I leave my Yellow Eye Tang in the acclimation box? Already completed 30 days of QT prior to going in, but I have a Yellow Tang. The tank is 150 gallons and the yellow eye is much smaller so the yellow isn’t paying him any attention. I also have 50 lbs of BRS rerf saver rock curing to add to my already established reef but it’s only been curing for a day.

You have to pull the rip-cord on the parachute some time (lol)... I would tend to agree that tonight would be good. Best wishes!

PS: If you are anything like me, you just might love your Yellow Eyed Kole Tang so much that you trade your Yellow Tang {bully?} into your LFS like I did, and go with a Onespot Foxface and Bicolor Angel instead :)

With a Tang, I agree that 4 days is plenty. I agree wholeheartedly with JumboShrimp, I booted a Yellow Tang that wasn't half grown after he decided to claim my 90 for himself and replaced him with a One Spot Foxface and have been much happier with it.
