Hello everyone !
I've kept this aquarium for a year now, but only kept corals for 1-2 months (so I'm not that experienced in terms of corals especially in placement)
Today I lost my paraancora euphyllia after 1-2 months working on saving it. And my acan started dieing after a month of well being here's everything that you may need to know:
I moved the acan maybe at a total of 3 times with atleast 7 day intervalls.
Current Parameters:
Salinity: 1024-1025 (very slowly increasing to 1026 by waterchanges)
PO4: 0,36 ppm
NO3: 50-70 ppm
I'll get the rest next day.
- doing a 10-15% waterchange per week
Pests:
I have never ever seen any pests not on this frag nor on others
Livestock:
Scopas tang
Ocellaris clown
Chrysiptera Hemycianea (bluedevil damselfish)
Nemateleotris Decora (purple fire goby)
Synchiropus Pictoratus (picturesque dragonet)
Lyretail Anthias
Filter system:
Protein skimmer, some sponges, filter sock (cleaned once or twice a week), activated carbon, some ceramic filter ring
Other infos:
1st time I placed them to a higher location there after a week or two the tissue rapidly receded but not the polyps, 2nd placed them to a lower light area polyps receding, 3rd placement is the current for now the tissue recession seems to be very slow but comparing to my 1st weekly and 2nd weekly photos the dying can be seen + I don't feed them daily (I never knew you can overfeed corals).
Questions:
What should I do?
(+I want to try again an acan, where should I place it to be sure ?)
