Ah ok. That's not bad. I taught English in Korea for two years and really loved teaching, but I wouldn't do grade school in the states. I couldn't handle the parents.

Surprisingly, at this level, I have redundant methods so parents know when things are due the day that students do. So anytime I have a grade issue the parents side with me. I’ve yet to have a problem but this is also a pretty high level program where we can kick the kids out if they don’t perform. At the district level I’d cry haha. I’ve heard of horror stories of parents getting teachers fired before.

Yeah I have a former collogue that left to go teach and I don't envy her. In Korea, the parents were pretty much always with you when it came to the kids.
