Miles, raise the apeture a bit, higher f-stop, to increase the depth of field. It will require a longer exposure but a tripod helps a lot to keep things steady. Also you can use the timer to trigger the shutter so you don't shake the camera while pushing the shutter release button. Nice shots though. I've got a sigma 70mm macro for my Pentax K-7 if you need some more pics. Let me know.

Thanks for the tips Randy I will put them to use later this week. I guess i should break out my tripod :) The lens i'm borrowing is a Sigma 105mm and my camera is a Canon T3i

70 gallon tall, want to upgrade to a 90 cube

Nice, I went from a 60gal cube to this. Definitely worth it.

Thank you! Most SPS are doing really great, the 2 large brown outs are getting some color but not as much as I would like. Maybe I am just impatient lol. On one the upper branches all have a purple hue to them but you can still see the brown, the other one is just light brown almost a dirty yellow color. I am going to take small frags from each and place them at different light levels in the tank to see if they are getting too much light being at the top. Its funny because this is a frag from the yellowish brown one, its in my frag tank under Orphek PR-25 LEDs and its as green as can be

Swapped out the front bulb on my light fixture from ATI actinic to ATI blue+. Wish I would have done that sooner!

I'm also babysitting some corals for a friends. Had some issues and his SPS started bleaching so those colonies in the middle are his
