Poorly Glued Corals could be the theme of my tank - if I didn't have a pistol they'd mostly just stay on the sand bed where I knock them to each time I'm in there

I use this setup for algae:

I get those scrub brushes with the top bristles at paint supply stores.

Love it! My gears are turning now.. What if that brush was a flexible Dremel attachment such as this guy. Can keep the main Dremel and battery out of the water, run the shaft along side or through the pipe, electric algae remover....

Probably smart... Unfortunately haven't ever seen a flexible extension without metal exposed hmmm... Sam, get to work!

If my husband ( who I try to give a say in the tank) didn’t love the pistol, I would have rehomed a long time ago. It’s always messing with my stuff. And eventually I know it’s going to get too close to my RFA bebbies

We feel the same, love the activity of the pistol shrimp and goby, but not sure if it's worth the shenanigans, potential rock slides, etc. This combo can live out their days here but we won't likely jump to adding them to the next tank..

Anything staying on the sand bed I've had to mount to a piece of rock bigger than he can't move, then he just gets angry and covers them with sand anyway. aaahhhh lol

This was a cool halo effect, from how the light interacts with ice particles in the air. Still pretty crisp mornings up here!

it is 70 down here! but.... at 4 it is going to 40 and snowing... i tell ya, CO has some weird weather
