Good morning all. My current pre set heater gives me a constant 76 degree temp. I have confirmed this with an old school in tank thermometer and ink bird temp controller. It never gets above 76.3 and never below 76. I’ve monitored the heater and really doesn’t come on that often to maintain this temp. Will 76 be ok for a mixed reef with fish or should I look to get a better heater. The current chart shows my daily trend and it doesn’t deviate from this ever.

In my experience, my office tank was at 76 and it did great for 4 years. My living room tank hovers in-between 80 - 83 and its been 3 years.

Thanks guys. I'm still fairly green in this hobby so I'm glad to hear 76 would be fine. I've been under the impression that 78-79 is the sweet spot and just want to make sure it's sufficient.

One thing I have learned and experienced over the years of reefing, is that our corals are highly adaptable and hardy as long as the changes are implemented slowly.
