The best way to cycle the tank would be dr Tim’s bacteria and ammonia because there’s not too many small fish hardy enough for cycling nano tanks.

Just get a bottle of bacteria to cycle the tank, why torture a fish? That size tank is really too small for any fish anyway.

It has a peace of Tampa Bay live rock in it and filtration from a two year old tank. I was thinking of putting a six-line wrasse in it or a clownfish. What is your opinion?

its your tank bro
The recommended tank size for a 6 line is 30 gallons, and the recommended tank size for a clownfish is 20 gallon.

Don't put a fish in there. You don't need to cycle it either (especially since you already seeded it). However, the corals will benefit from residual nitrate and phosphate from tossing some food in there.
