Hey everyone I was indecisive about actually starting a build thread.

Like the title says it's a 34 gal cube it is 24 1/2 by 24 1/2 by 14 tall but water level is at 12in, been wanting to set up a shallow cube just love the way shallow tanks look and this set up will give me a chance to look at it from the top down

Equipment I plan on running:

1. 6 bulb Aquaticlife t5 fixture (came with set up, but I really want an ATI fixture but have to save up for that lol) Will be using ATI bulbs though. With blue LED suppliments

2. Mag 12 return (also came with the set up) I think it's a bit over kill but might make it work, will have the reactors hooked up to it as well and might not need powerheads in the display. We shall see.

3. Want to get the BRS dual reactor (carbon and GFO)

4. MP10w ES if needed

5. Thinking of going with the Reef Octopus XP- 1000sss used to have this skimmer and loved it

6. Might get a Reef Keeper lite.

Trying to keep it a simple set up. The plan is to be a Zoa/polyp and LPS dominate tank

Here are some pics of the set up and aquascape I'm going with

So I decided to use a 10 gal sump instead of the cube sump just to spare some room under the stand. The tank finally touched water yesterday (sunday) but forgot to check all the bulk heads and one of them had a bad seal so it was leaking thru so I had to drain most of the water to replace it but I have to go get it today.

Also decided to take the water fall wall that was on the back wall didn't really like the look so I took it off. Gave me a lot of space. Check out the pics.

Also went with a Rio 1700 as the return pump instead of the Mag 12 lol and I got a PM RL 125 Skimmer for it. I will try to post more pics tonight

do you have this same tank?? or you just saying in general?

Sorry, didn't mean to mislead you. Mine is a 36g bowfront and a 15g sump would fit in the cabinet but doing any maintenance in the sump or changing a UV bulb would be a nightmare so I just went with the 10g.

So I was up late last night trying to get this tank going lol I found 2 small leaks in the plumbing but nothing major and got them fixed easy.

Still working on the wiring so don't pay to much attention to that lol

O my goodness, you should see my wiring! Its a mess. I do at least have each wire labelled what it is.

lol Yea I labelled the wires till I can make a label for the ADJ. Only have three wires (skimmer, return pump, and heater) Want to keep the set up simple and I'll probably just be putting two more connections (reactor and MP10)

I tried to keep it simple too but somehow it just got more complicated. I have a return pump, heater, skimmer, UV, chiller, ATO, lights on DT and sump and battery back up. Anyway it adds up to a mess of wires! LOL
