Hey Everyone!

I am new to marine aquariums and I am in the learning and research phase of this hobby (not that that will ever end!). I only have about 26" of length to work with given where I can put this aquarium. I would like to keep it in the peninsula position (ie if I do a sump I would like it to be on the smaller edge, not the long one). I am trying to maximize "floor space" and I am less concerned with total height/volume. Getting rid of the AIO compartment would allow me to maximize that a little but.

Is it worth my time as a new hobbyist to set up a sump system or should I go with an easier overall setup in an AIO and upgrade to a sump system in the future with my next tank? How much space on the back of the tank will I need for the tubing to the sump? Should I have any issue fitting all of the sump under the tank in a cabinet?

Thanks in advance and I am excited to be part of this community.
