I've been meaning to post more of the shrooms I got from SBB, but the larger shroom box I bought from Saltwater Aquarium came cracked, I mailed it back it back this week and waiting for a replacement.

Just for other people's knowledge, I ordered PNW custom racks and shroom boxes from SaltwaterAquarium.com since I get reward points like BRS. Previous ones I ordered directly from PNW, but no reward system for purchases there.

Yeah Rosco is the brand, so as long as it's theirs, then you're good to go. Remember, there is no such thing as a silver bullet when it comes to filters. Each filter is designed to filter out a certain percentage and spectrum of light. A heavier amber will take out more blues, and is more suited towards heavy blue situations. A lighter amber filter filters out less blue so is more suited for a warmer tank. The reason I say amber and not orange is because orange pretty much knocks out all the blue leaving the coloration off. Amber takes out some, but not all of the blues. My personal favorite is the Straw family filters. Half Straw is an all around, very versatile filter.

Sounds great. I'll let you know the results. The shroom I posted earlier is an insane bright orange and I have another that is more blue and actually looks like the picture to the naked eye.

I’ve now got 2 rogue shrooms. Cut a Ricordia with a couple heads and spent an hour playing with shroom slime trying to get it to stay somewhere lol. They keep getting stuck in the powerhead fish guard. I ordered a cheap little jail off Amazon and put some rubble in it. Hopefully they will attach and I can mount them in a week or two.

My acros seem to be doing okay in about 250 par, good PE. Would that low of a par level slowly kill them or just stunt growth? In my small system if I take par up to about 350 on them, my shrooms, Zoas, Acans are going to be about 225-250 par.

Should be fine. I won't say it will stunt growth, but it definitely won't kill them. Some people stay right there at 250-300 par. This is the rock I bought.

I ordered it through my LFS from Sea Dwelling Creatures, they do a drop once a week of Wysiwyg. I know most are common blue shrooms, but curious to know what is on the side and how the green one will grow out. I say one last week I really wanted, but it sold too fast. Another one this week is killer looking but $240. I'm kind of gambling the lower price ones for hitchhiker cooler corals.
