What happens when you cut power or lose power? The locline will set the drain height, correct? Meaning the entire contents drain down to the level of the locline. Unless that is a closed loop and you are running your skimmer from some other piping.

yeah, you are going to need to raise the returns up higher or you'll flood your sump down to the LOWEST return pipe. Also before it is mentioned, don't rely on a check valve please. I had one fail and almost led to disaster when the power went out one day. I learned my lesson, but I wasn't looking at draining as much as you will :(

I like the stand and tank, it looks really nice. Also the overflow should be easy to cover with smaller rocks.

I'm using two clear swing valves in case one fails & will have a battery backup on the return pump.

I don't see the swing valve, where is it located? I agree with Ronnie, your playing with fire if you don't have it setup for all four returns to shut completely during a outage. Or at least raise your returns closer to the top of the tank pointing downwards. That's what I have for me current setup *raised returns* so it won't drain my tank completely. I'm not fond of filter socks as well, they clog to easily but at least you have it pretty low so when it does it stays in the sump...I like the splash gaurd over it as well.

I Love the dimensions...but I agree that is a disaster waiting to happen depending on swing valves......I always look at it as if it will go wrong it is only a matter of time before it happens.
