My Fuge is an in-tank Fuge so the Urchins can get in if they were so inclined. I have 0 turbos currently - they've never lasted long for me.

I've got that weird invasive micro Ulva growing in there currently but a lot of it disappeared when I dosed the tank with Flux Rx. Luckily it was the stuff in the DT that disappeared. There's still some in the Fuge but I'm not overly excited about that since the fish and CUC didn't seem to touch it and it was starting to encroach on my Acros.
I'm in second phase of Flux Rx for Valonia. That's 4x dose for bryopsis. Took out cuttings of all my macros and have them in the 10g for backup.

Botry, Valonia, Caulerpa and yes, that horrible micro ulva all died. Week 4 or 5 right now. Codium is just starting to wither at the ends--that stuff is resilient. That micro ulva is the worst. Completely smothered my Galaxaura, which was an awesome macro, and began growing on my SPS.

My tux urchin loved Botrycladia. Would wear it and eat it.

My Bryopsis was gone in around 5 days - visibly less by day 2. Ulva took about a week before noticeably less and then about 3 weeks before it was gone from the DT. I'm on week 4 or 5 right now and it's still in the Fuge but it was just a single full dose. Just turned the skimmer back on yesterday.

I'm considering adding some Caulerpa or trying Dragon's Breath again. My biggest issue is I don't want to reduce the phosphates, only nitrates since I'm already dosing 10 ml per day of phosphates currently.

I considered some vinegar. The only things unhappy currently are the Gonis. Care Bears and one other are good, one is completely gone - no flesh, no color in the polyp holes, 5 others are unhappy and short with some possible flesh retraction.

All other LPS are fluffy and happy, all SPS are doing good just not a ton of PE.

Pickling Lime ordered to make some Kalk and zap some Aips.

Also, a couple of frag shelves and hangers curing. One's going in the tank tomorrow. Water change probably tomorrow as well.

I'm thinking another EggRagoRack shelf:

So the shelf that was cured was too big for the space I had for it. My options are to replace the Blasto shelf with the new one and put Blastos on one half and Micros or Bowers on the other. I don't know at this point. Maybe I'll just set that one aside for the time being.

I have a hanger for the Fuge drying and will probably start the freshwater soak in a day or two. I have a hanger for the front of the overflow freshwater soaking right now and it's probably going in the saltwater soak when I moved
the Fuge hanger over.

Also also, did a 10 gallon water change today. Phosphates are still looking good, alk is at 8.9, gotta check calcium and magnesium tomorrow. Nitrate reagents are in the mail.

No pictures, sorry.

So my wife is at a girl's lunch. Having lunch right now. Considering stopping by the store and picking up a fish here in a bit... :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes: We'll see what they have if I do.

And just like that - we get done eating and getting ready to head to the store and my wife calls and says she's done and headed home.
Well, my son's only 4 and a half and learned how to upload shorts to youtube....

Yup. Been there. My pin cushion loved on lepto and cyphastrea frags.
My Pincushion hasn't eaten anything except rock and algae. He's played "hide the frag" quite a lot - still does almost daily. The Pencil ate the dead half of a Galaxea once but I wasn't worried about it since it was the dead half.

Thankfully, urchins of all species range in what they like. Most pin cushin ignore coral. Mine just likes the couple. Nothing serious to say he has to go though.
