Finally, I found a 120g for a used price $200.
She’s the ugliest most beautiful thing I have ever laid eyes on. I’m going to strip the two overflows, add a ghost overflow and oh so much more to get this one wet again. I decided to put my money towards reputable equipment, instead of the glass box. (Good timing considering frameless tanks are losing fashion, dang you Red Sea.)
My previous tank was a cadlight 60g and just a frameless beauty. That tank grew coral but limped by with basic equipment. (Lighting,Powerheads, manually dosing) Time to flourish and establish a low maintenance 120g for this reefer.

So I've actually never had shrimp kabobs so I'm kind of shooting from the hip here. But I'm wondering how do you not overcook the shrimp in the time it takes to soften pepper and onion, on a grill?

Or are the pepper and onion really just a heated up additive not really cooked?
Way I do it it is onion and pepper on separate skewer from shrimp…start pepper/onion skewer first then the shrimp at the end…when all is cooked remove from skewers and plate together ;)

Yes, but really only way to get that good char on the veggies and not overcook the shrimp
Now this is why I brought up the shell on or off. I thought the shell gets left on to take the heat from the grill. Now I’m tempted to make a veggie skewer and a shrimp skewers. Double fisting at a BBQ sounds like the accurate way to party.

Have you ever hated yourself enough to play the game Edward 40 hands?

I don't think this would work well in my tank. There's a Lot of fish, and 75% of them are hogs. I don't think the bits of food would ever make it to the less aggressive eating 25%

I’ve been on a roll with the tank upgrades. It’s fun to treat the tank and spend time workin on what you love. This next upgrade was well overdue. I’m calling this my favorite upgrade thus far.
Because the satisfaction was immense. Like being able to see effortlessly for the first time… well…maybe more like finding a flashlight in a dark cave.

I over thought this upgrade for years. Finally when I was walking through Lowe’s I saw these for 15 bucks and said to my self “perfect, hope they’re bright enough” what a score. simple, cheap, and I got to whip out the old drill gun. Hope I remember these little wins when things get tough again.
