Finally, I found a 120g for a used price $200.
She’s the ugliest most beautiful thing I have ever laid eyes on. I’m going to strip the two overflows, add a ghost overflow and oh so much more to get this one wet again. I decided to put my money towards reputable equipment, instead of the glass box. (Good timing considering frameless tanks are losing fashion, dang you Red Sea.)
My previous tank was a cadlight 60g and just a frameless beauty. That tank grew coral but limped by with basic equipment. (Lighting,Powerheads, manually dosing) Time to flourish and establish a low maintenance 120g for this reefer.

Whoever said silicone doesn’t stick to acrylic has never tried to remove baffles from one of my builds.

Yo Right!!

Sure, it doesn't Fuze, but it also ain't easy to get off.

I assume you're going to be installing the mechanical section on one end?

Yes I think I can use these baffles to make this aio on the side there. I put the pump down to gauge how much room I have to work with.

Seeing that picture of the acrylic on the SCMS cutting the weir teeth gave me the Herbie jeebies. If I made that cut without a backer board, with my luck, i would for sure have mangled and snapped one off.
Hah I heard that! I Hate cutting those with a miter saw. They don’t look half as clean for how much extra work goes into it. I tried to flip it and recut to get a cleaner finish but looked like crap. I ultimately broke out the handsaw and some grit paper for a decent finish

No router option?

Even using step one of a dovetail jig would be awesome cutting these.

I don’t have a router but I should buy one their not too expensive. gotta look up that jig. I really want a table saw but that’s a lot of change that won’t get used enough.

Routers are a workhorse in my shop. I'll buy any used Porter-Cable router I can find cheap. They last forever and are extremely easy to work on.

Issue with this is, you know it's ugly. Once you have it in use, the only issue is, you only know it's ugly. No one else will even pay attention. If you tried to sell it. That would be an issue. Someone like me would say, "so, these going to break anytime soon?"
