120g Craigslist tank restoration

Finally, I found a 120g for a used price $200.
She’s the ugliest most beautiful thing I have ever laid eyes on. I’m going to strip the two overflows, add a ghost overflow and oh so much more to get this one wet again. I decided to put my money towards reputable equipment, instead of the glass box. (Good timing considering frameless tanks are losing fashion, dang you Red Sea.)
My previous tank was a cadlight 60g and just a frameless beauty. That tank grew coral but limped by with basic equipment. (Lighting,Powerheads, manually dosing) Time to flourish and establish a low maintenance 120g for this reefer.

Funny you say that because I set up a new tank today for the wife

When you say "for the wife", does that mean a tank she is in charge of and responsible for, or a tank for her enjoyment, that you're still on the hook for?

Makes sense. My kids always ask about an XYZ specialized tank. My answer is always the same.

" If you are willing to maintain it, and be responsible for it, I'll build it for you"

I wanted a nice cube for a nem tank. I just never figured out where to put it.

Also terrified of my son and hound breaking it.
I have a 60g in garage. Will not use it as there is a balance issue. It's probably the stands fault. Very wobbly.

Wish I never sold my 60g cube but same thing stand issues plus plumbing needed redone

Yes so most end up starving to death, my lfs will trade them back like they do with harlequin shrimp but you can supplement feed them.

I’m pretty excited about this haul, the kiddo picked out two springer damsels and a candy cane coral frag, I got two little eye candies, no spoilers yet but a hint, one of the corals name rhymes with sleeping pillow haha

Springari are super cool little fish. They like their area and may chase others out of it, but that's like 6"x6" space. They get much Darker and more expressive when territorial. I have one in every tank
