I used ESV. But recently switched back to Redsea pro.Curious what salt you are using?
No doubt that low nutrient suck! What I aim for is heavy import and heavy export at the same time.Sorry for the losses, every tank is different but, imo, low nutrients suck, corals need those nutrients as well, don't strip them too quickly!
Huhm, hopefully. Ever since this system set up, I have had so many incidents. Troubles after troubles!!!Bummer about the losses but it definitely sounds like you've got things under control or at least getting there man Looking forward to watching the system come back over the next 6 months
I have a cup that I collect waste water whenever I test, I clean the vials and dump the waste water into that cup. The other day, when I opened the cabinet to clean up the sump, my son sneaked behind me and dumped the whole cup into my sump. So if you ever wonder if test reagents (hanna phosphorus, elos nitrate, hanna alk, hanna cal) kills corals, come back here after a week for update.
Here he is, little trouble maker! Can't get angry with him through!
For the good news, I am setting up another system. The tanks is propaganda tank 8ft x3ft with 12" high so side view isn't optimal. Most of the scape will be viewed from top down.
What I have to start with:
Rock structures were made with mostly zipties and putty. They can't be too tall because the tank only 12" tall.
