Ease of maintenance is fairly low on my priority list with lights - I want a light that's set it and forget it. BUT if I need to maintain it, easier is always better!
I've never considered maintenance when selecting a light. I did have a mounting system designed with maintenance in mind tho.
In the past with bulb changes while not hard became a pain. I have 3 Kessil 160 tuna suns on my fw planted 125 the little screws are cumber sum and removing the case isnt great to deep clean them. My Reefi I just took some compressed air and blew it out the other day. But I didnt even consider it when purchasing the led units, happier with the fact of no bulb changes.
Anyway we can give the corals the closest habitat to their home the better. Lighting is so important to these complex little beauties.

I want a true all in one light. I don't want to have a light I need to supplement with other lights.
Ideally, just clean it off and it just works. Set and forget. This is essential.
