I am about a year and a half in on my first ever reef tank. When I first started out I got some cheap lights that have been ok at best. I would love these lights to encourage better growth from my corals and have more customizable lighting that really showcases the colors. I didn’t realize how quickly I would need an upgrade!

Bonus entry thirty-one - I balance aesthetics and functionality in aquarium lighting by making sure that a light can provide for my corals while still looking good. l typically prioritize functionality over aesthetics though that is not to say that aesthetics aren't important to me.
