Entry for: Post a picture of a coral or other reef inhabitant in your saltwater aquarium that you're convinced would want an Orphek light over your tank and give us a caption for your photo.

DAILY QUESTION: What’s the best way to measure the effectiveness of your reef lighting setup?
How your inhabitants react (doesn't matter what your PAR is if your coral don't like it).

DAILY QUESTION: What tips do you have for new aquarists about choosing the right reef lighting?
You don't have to use the most expensive lighting to get the "right" light. And flexibility is helpfull. Multiple smaller lights can be better than a single larger light.

DAILY QUESTION: Why is it essential to have a light that mimics natural sunlight and moonlight cycles?
I don't know that it is "essential", but if we're trying to make a habitat that's most like the inhabitants' original homes, then it's pretty important.

DAILY QUESTION: How do you integrate new lighting technology with existing aquarium setups?
I keep my lighting independent of the rest of the controllers/automation on my tank, so it's a non-issue for me.
