Are the white spots growths on top of the cap, or spots shere the red flesh has peeled away leaving just the skeleton?
It doesn't look like growth on top but doesn't appear the flesh has completely peeled away either. Just that it's got that bleached appearance.

Any fish dropping sand or pooping on that area? Could be a change in flow if the powerheads haven't been cleaned lately. If stuff settles on a spot, that area can die.
There could've been something dropped on it. Shouldn't be a flow issue, I cleaned the powerhead that's right by it a few weeks ago.

white spots on monti could be a couple of things, new growth, debris pockets where crap collects,
sure hope not but look at night for monti eating nudi's
I think debris is most likely. I checked last night for nudis and didn't see anything.

One more monti question. Do I need to do anything or just keep an eye on it?
Keep an eye on it. I've got a spot on one of my caps. For whatever reason the flesh never grew back. It doesn't appear to be spreading but it's an ugly white spot right in the middle of the cap. Potentially from the Duncan below it stinging it, but who knows.

Anyone have any ideas why these white spots may be forming on the right side of my monti cap?

Mine gets them occasionally, comes and goes without detrimental effect, and I always chalked it up to growth.

Do yall think I need to set up my auto feeder if I'm just missing two days of feeding?
I wouldn't worry about it unless you feed multiple times a day then it might be a good idea.
