I do, and have always wanted to thank all of you for support for my love of baseball, whether it pertains to you or not.
Thanks all of you.
I have my favorite team/s, sure, but I am also a huge fan of the game itself.
It's all I ever wanted to do.
When I was very young, we didn't have a TV. So when we would visit my grandparents in southern California I would listen to baseball on the radio with my grandfather who had a radio in every room,always on to a ballgame of some kind.
I made up everything in my head.
He loved USC, the dodgers and the Lakers but,most of all he just loved it all.
Little did I know my grandmother listened to him all the time and knew everything about all sports.
He finally let me watch on tv.
I finally got to put the faces to the names.
Whether you rooted for the teams Pete Rose played for or not he was Mr baseball, and I'm sure he'll make the hall of fame now, but it's a little too late for that apology, IMO and sad he won't be able to be there.

A long time ago when I was younger and lived in Cuba I was a fan of baseball for many years since it is the national sport of the country, but since I couldn't watch baseball from here in the U.S. because it wasn't shown on TV, I got bored of that baseball there and became a Futbol (soccer) fan.

I love baseball as much as anything Joel. It's great to meet and learn from all of you. I enjoy your baseball posts almost as much as pictures of your trigger lol. My love of baseball is very nostalgic because of family as well. Keep em coming!

Good morning everyone. Speaking of baseball I have a ball signed by Pete Rose. When I was younger my dad ran into him at the airport during a layover. They chatted for a few minutes and my dad was going to have him sign something random for me. Said he unzipped his bag and pulled out a ball to sign.
