Was it swollen up on the end like this when you pulled it out?
I was looking for some Nassarius snails in the sand when I found them. They looked like normal worms until I touched them and took them out of the water. They started to turn white and thicker on top.

Never had a tang jump, but looked back at one of my fish stocking spreadsheets and remembered this guy (no idea why I keep spreadsheets for everything):

That tank was covered with acrylic lids and a canopy that just had finger holes in the lid to remove it and that goby and the Orange Stripe I replaced it with found those holes and jumped, only 2 losses from jumping that I have recorded.
I miss that tank.

Neat - are they still alive when they turned like that?

Yes, I even left them out of the water for a while waiting for a response and then I put it back in the 32 and they were alive, I don't think they're still alive because I only left that tank with a powerhead until now that I'm going to completely disassemble it.

can you guys help me with my euphyllia? i did a water change yesterday and these are my parameters for today-sal. 1.026, phos. .39, nitrate 38.7, alk. 7.1, cal. 495, mag. 1485.
i have a problem with the fleshband receding. they usually look ok, but the flesh band is minimal. ive got a couple that are holding on but not flourishing. then i just got some new ones in that sbb order and i really dont want to lose those! what am i missing?

Well we have moved the vehicles away from the trees as much as possible, got gas for our generator and battery's for my battery powered air pumps so we are ready as we can be if we lose power from the storm. We are expecting up to 20 inches of rain and lots of wind. Schools are closed tomorrow and Friday and at work we called everyone that had doctor appointments and canceled them for the next two days. They may close the office all the way which they never do.

If it were me, I would drop Phos a bit with PhosGuard and start a 6 day regimen of cipro. Bit extreme, but every time I see my euphyllia looking off and decide not to go cipro, I end up watching a head die and then adding cipro in any case. Note: maybe the cipro helps, maybe not, but sure seems like the heads stop bailing and going BJD once I've started it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'd also try to raise Alk to 8ish. RE: NO3/PO4, are these your normal levels? If so, I might skip the PhosGuard and just add more coral or macroalgae to eat up the extra nutrients.

I think if you can post a video where it can see the flow and the position it is in the tank with respect to the light.
