Good Morning! Getting ready to pickup the frags and have the Coral Rx, small power head ready, have to find a clean bucket yet.
Its been a almost a decade since i have bought any coral. I used to dip coral 10 minutes, brush off plug or cut the plug off the coral and remount on rubble then rinse in tank water before placing.
Anything I am forgetting or that has changed?

I do it a little differently but the circumstances are different, it takes me 20 minutes to get home with the coral and when it comes in shipping they are more stressed but as you are going to do it I think it is perfect

The only thing I would change would be that I would leave the coral in the plug for at least a few days and thus avoid more stress to the coral in the same day

That's a good point. wish i still had a frag system so i could acclimate, monitor and then remove the plugs before they went into the display.
From now on no selling equipment when i take a break from a hobby. That frag tank was a display from a store, 48x24x12 acrylic with racks and all the fixings.
They did an amazing job packing, tight and upright! everything is cupped, torch has foam on the bottom of the cup to keep it submerged. Carbon in every bag. Never had coral show up like this years ago.

You started buying corals online again with a very good experience from what I see, I'm so glad and happy for you, I'm already waiting for photos of those corals ;)
