yep i would not survive there. absolutely hated it when i had to work down south in the heat. Although i remember working in Georgia during Christmas and it was 50f and i was in a T-shirt and the guy i was working with was from puerto rico and he was in full arctic carhartts and had to go warm up every 20 minutes.

howdy folks! crazy weekend. lots of company, boys went deer hunting and bagged a couple bucks, late nights

Ok, 2 bags of sand according to the BRS calculator gives me 1" of sand, should I add another bag for 1.5" inches or is it okay like this?

Depends on what you like.
Put a bowl in the tank and pour the water on the bowl instead.
It won't stir everything up so much.

You didn't rinse the sand so it will be cloudy for a little bit. They have clarifier packets you can add that help some. Also calcium carbonate.

I didn't know I could rinse it, on the sand page it says that rinsing it could kill the bacteria and I got scared lol, will this work?
