I'm in my first one also (space laser) and the fun isn't in the winning or losing. It's the community doing it with you. Seeing everyone's monthly submissions. Hyping each other up. I look forward to the 8th every month to take new pics of it.

I agree! I’m currently in my first with Rainbows Army. This will be my second.
When I joined the RA contest, I had been trying with poor success on acros for well over a year and then boom, things started happening. I fully expected my rainbows army to last a month or two in my care but lo and behold, I’m still in it and most entries I thought of as pros compared to myself are not. We are 6-7 months in now. You just never know how it’s going to play out…. But it’s fun to see everyone’s experience with the same frags on the same timeline! Good luck!

I love to see all the encouragement from the folks that have participated in the grow-outs previous, and we heard you loud and clear.

This time around we chose hardy, fast growing colonybuilding specimens that will thrive in a wide range of parameters.

Adam and I both feel terrible about the last grow-outs mortality rate, and while a lot of it was just bad luck, we still understand how disheartening it was.

We did better, so you can do better!!!
So anyone who has any sort of fear about going into this... DON'T!!!

My growouts have a small side rule, post parameters, it gives you a chance to win a $300 GC, but, for anyone who wants to grow corals consistently and well, read over the parameters posted month after month, find a set that suits your salt mix without too great a change, and...

Hey gang, just a quick notice, I will be shipping today. I’ve got a lot going out but if I locked you in to ship later this week, meaning any day other than today and you got a notice that your coral is shipping today, please disregard that. I’m trying to get ahead of the game here and I set up labels for Tuesday and Wednesday this morning.

unfortunately I can’t designate what day the notices get sent to you guys, so no matter what day I have you locked in for, as soon as I hit enter it sends you a notification that your Coral is Shipping today.

I have talked with a developer about this and it is a glitch. We are working hard to fix.

Just to be 100% on the same page with you guys, if the email I sent you in the subject line it says “Tuesday”or “Wednesday Lock in” that’s your day. Guaranteed!

please disregard the email that says your shipping today. once you are officially scanned in to ups after physical pick up. Your tracking will update accordingly for the correct delivery day.
