Hi,

I have a new tank with new fish; the aquarium is about 1.5 months old. I've recently encountered this issue. The fish is very active, eating regularly, and swimming normally. However, it's been a week since I noticed these cloudy spots on its skin.

Could you please identify what these spots might be?

Looks to be Lymphocystis which is rarely a concern, feed well and keep water clean.

Agree on lympho which is a condition and not disease. Often its associated with water quality issue as simple as elevated ammonia or nitrate and can be that of water from LFS and not yours. Assure to provide Good water quality monitored by a reliable test kit and feed nutritious food with fats such as LRS nano frenzy and mysis shrimp.
