At what point, if any, do you remove a bristle worm?

Researching fire and bristle worms I was curious if anyone, at a certain size (or other reason), starts removing bristle worms? Obviously you want fire worms out if possible IMO. I have a 20g AIO and there are two exceedingly large bristle worms in the tank, never hurt anything but obviously...

    ID on rock dwelling hitchhiker

Hi all, hoping for an ID on this or these things. Hiding in my rock. I had a look through the sticky and nothing except maybe hydroids came to mind. You see it move something out of its hold and it seems to be popping out of multiple points in the rock. These were taken during the middle of the...

    Long coil white worm?

Any idea what this thing is? Found this one on the live rock - have also found a couple on the edges of the glass. Its a long white worm that kind of coils itself like this. Originally thought it was the zooanxthellae released by my hammers but after seeing this one changing that assumption...

Tiny orange worm? And tiny creatures on the glass.

My tank is fallow right now and with no fish around, I decide to focus more on the tiny things around the tank. I am seeing 3 creatures that I am not sure what they are. Whatever they are they are all over my tank, one grain of sand can have around 6 (yellow line) every spot you see in the sand...

Can coral frags be dipped twice in Revive?

Hello fellow saltines, I just picked up two Gorgonian frags (a corky and purple plume). These are my first corals. I just dipped in Revive for close to 15 mins. Now they're in a fresh saltwater rinse. I was about to dump out the Revive mix when I saw something moving in the bottom. I thought it...

    Spaghetti worm?

Found this on my glass as the lights were dimming. Brownish/red color very long approx 3-4” and extremely thin, no visible bristles. Possibly was 1 very long one or even 2 I’m uncertain if it was cut in half etc. so could have easily been 5” fully extended.

Since some days ago I’ve noticed that there are some of this thin white worms attached to the glass, sometimes they hide on the sand and when they’re near the water flow they unnatach and float around the water in a crawled position. ID Dip Critters

One of the heads on my torch was closed up the other day, and I saw a black dot on it. Next it went straight into some coral RX and some critters fell off... https://photos.app.goo.gl/XP4exzjVkvCwNzPc9 The head still isn't open (not even a day after the dip, but still...), so I'm hoping...

Worm with long legs and red square pattern. What is it?

So my wife had me clean and move a bookshelf on the side of the tank today and I've been enjoying a view of the tank I haven't had and noticed the sand bed was pushed up on the glass. Low and behold I see worms in the sand I don't recognize. I'm terrified for the worst ID possible, but I can't...

    Zebra worm?

The worm is in the center extending from the rock. It bores into the rock and has been in the same spot for months. I can tell it is boring into the rock because it leaves behind a small pile of castings every so often in the exact same spot. It has no bristles and does not appear to be...

Luck with spionid worms? Control? Removal?

I know they aren't too harmful to things but I just don't want to have worms burrowing into any of my corals. And Im worried about the future of my tank. I have some spionid worms in my sand bed. Hitchhiker ID

Just set up my first saltwater tank (FOWLR) and found this in a piece of cured live rock. What the heck is it and how can I remove it. Whether it’s harmless or not, I don’t like it’s ugly mug.

2 tiny critters I need identified please.

This one I should have taken a picture of while still in the tank but it looks pretty much the same (first pic is the top side, second is the bottom). It was clung to the glass and (with a glove on) I drug it up to the surface and struggled the take it off the glass and it felt pretty...
