No kidding, I’ve contacted them to see if they have anymore gigantea they’ve misidentified. Maybe I can get a bunch…….hmmm….then I might need another tank….Gorgeous!!! If I could get more $35 nems like that I'd already have built a new display tank by now to house them all.
I haunt my local Petco stores hoping for this to happen, but they usually get it mixed up the other way around.No kidding, I’ve contacted them to see if they have anymore gigantea they’ve misidentified. Maybe I can get a bunch…….hmmm….then I might need another tank….
Lol, I do the same thing at Petco! Haven’t found one yet either. I think @OrionN gets all the good Petco finds.I haunt my local Petco stores hoping for this to happen, but they usually get it mixed up the other way around.
BTW I got excited and forgot to say - congrats on the new nem!!!
I am on my phone, but that does not look like a haddoni. It looks more like a Mertensii. The verrucae on the underside of the foot appears to be a mertenssi as well.Check out my $35 “haddoni” I received from an online order. Excuse the terrible pics, just received it in the last hour.
SCORE!!

It is a Gigantea, it was mislabeled as a Haddoni, thus the excitement.I am on my phone, but that does not look like a haddoni. It looks more like a Mertensii. The verrucae on the underside of the foot appears to be a mertenssi as well.
It could also be a gig, but again, on phone and old eyes with a cracked screen is no good lol.
@Lost in the Sauce @OrionN @F i s h y thoughts?
See, old eyes, broken screen on phone, is not a good thing lol. I see the quotes over haddoni now lol.It is a Gigantea, it was mislabeled as a Haddoni, thus the excitement.
Gotta remember that Gramps is old. Like Really old. The kind where you wonder how he's not petrified at this point old..It is a Gigantea, it was mislabeled as a Haddoni, thus the excitement.
If you missed it, I am an idiot lol. Broken screen, nem looks slightly orange, missed a post, just basically my old feeble self being dumb lol.It is a Gigantea. Mertensii have much more veracuae. Also a green Mertensii would worth many thousands. Much more so than a green Gigantea.
They had 6 more available …….only $315 for all of them including shipping…. anyone selling a nem setup?No kidding, I’ve contacted them to see if they have anymore gigantea they’ve misidentified. Maybe I can get a bunch…….hmmm….then I might need another tank….
Well…..they are now sold out of the haddoni with purple spots, but it wasWhich online place. Please do tell.
