I really like the the extra led pop the XHO blue fixture adds.
I've used them with T5's and other led fixtures.
But the other day when adding my XHO fixtures to a new light fixture I noticed what might be a issue with one of the XHO fixtures.
Even though they still light up, it looks as if every other one of the leds are burnt.
This fixture isn't that old. At the most 2 years.
What is going on with this fixture @Reefbrite ?

Sometimes the led itself the emitter gets dark but it still puts out light ..
With use I would guess that would be the case, but it's every other emitter down the line, and when the fixture is on, there is a definite difference in amount of light.

Yes true also it may e a bad batch of emitters to. My UV emitters all get dark like that they still come on however no where near the amount of UV light coming from them like when new.
That's a shame. Half of the emitters not working right.
Might be time to look at Orphek again.
