Juvenile choats leopard wrasse. Too tiny for most divers to bother withWhat is that and how do I get one? It's adorable
Yours will pack some attitude the older it gets so I would stick with more assertive wrasses. A melanurus or a checkerboard wrasse (halichoeres hortulanus) could work with it.My one and only Green Wrasse (Halichoeres chloropterus)
I want more wrasses. What is compatible with the one?

My vote is checkerboard. One wrasse I would have like to have but stayed away do to size and feeling feisty
Sixline es can be little devils or be perfectly fine. Honestly if it were me I’d skip the hortulanus and get a red coris, Coris gaimard and rather than a melanarus I’d get a dusky, Halichoeres marginatus. Much prettier and from what I’ve seen both are less aggressive though that’s possibly an individual thing. You may also do a dragon wrasse but they can be destructive and possibly aggressive. Thanks for the input.
Could I add both or just stick to one of them?
Would a 6 line be an option? I’ve always liked their colors.
I got the green wrasse to help with the infestation of vermetid snails , which he did a good job cleaning up. I wanted the yellow coris wrasse but this was all that was available at the time.
You could add both the checkerboard and melanurus. In fact if you can add them at the same time it works out better because the established wrasse can't single out the new guy. Adding multiples disperses any initial aggression while they work out their pecking order. Thanks for the input.
