Sailfin Fairy Wrasse
Cirrhilabrus sp.
Well in that case, it looks like I got it for a pretty good deal haha. Thanks for the help! It’s a male Cirrhilabrus cyanogularis, the Blue Throat Fairy Wrasse.
Just be careful with other fairy and flasher wrasses as there can become quite aggressive.Well in that case, it looks like I got it for a pretty good deal haha. Thanks for the help!
Absolutely… on my ‘never again’ list !Just be careful with other fairy and flasher wrasses as there can become quite aggressive.
Interesting. Was yours just a problem with other wrasses? Or did it get agressive with other fish as well? He is the only wrasse in my tank, and I intend to keep it that way, but I’m curious if he could end up being a bully regardless.Absolutely… on my ‘never again’ list !

Red Headed Solons (C. aquamarinus) are known for being nasty as well, the Exquisite is known for being more docile in comparison though.Mine gets bullied by my Solar wrasse and Exquisite wrasse. They were all added at the same time
Yep, and my Naoko was the first one in and he's peaceful and supposed to be aggressive as well. The Exquiste is the only "green" wrasse I have. The rest are Orange (solar, orangeback, naoko). And the bluethroat is supposedly red. They are in a 500gallon though. Nobody minds my McCoskars wrasse either.Red Headed Solons (C. aquamarinus) are known for being nasty as well, the Exquisite is known for being more docile in comparison though.
I had 2 green wrasses, I still have one, My Halichoeres chloropterus, my second was a Cirrhilabrus melanomarginatus.Yep, and my Naoko was the first one in and he's peaceful and supposed to be aggressive as well.
