I got this tank in Red Sea G200 early April, and I finally got Coraline and I should be happy
that I got Coraline finally. But it's done me no good because I have red cyano. As it happened, I bought a separate nano as I wanted to be able to have nems. I started the second about a month ago this time I decided I was going to use dry aragonite. I've had very little issues with dyno or bacteria in the nano. I did export the rocks and bricks from my original tank. Tank number one: The red cyano is really just making me bonkers and I'm thinking maybe I want to go drastic and go to Home Depot and buy some of those large tubs and take all the rock and coral out of the 42 gallon tank and then just get rid of all of its gravel and live sand to replace it with aragonite. I just don't know how difficult that would be and doing so with disturb all the coral that I have in there now. What I lose half of the species in the process.? Maybe if I did, it might still be worth it if I could have the tank I want which is a tank without live sand and dry aragonite instead. I know there's the hydrogen peroxide alternative, but I don't know how is that the final answer. I just wished my coral tank didn't have live sand and that it had aragonite instead.
