Would these two work together in a 60 gallon tank for a pint an year because I plan to upgrade to much larger tank but just for an year would they be fine together they are both about 1-2 inches long the yellow is from Biota.

Probably, but be prepared to handle any aggression.Would these two work together in a 60 gallon tank for a pint an year because I plan to upgrade to much larger tank but just for an year would they be fine together they are both about 1-2 inches long the yellow is from Biota.
How would you recommend to handle the aggression?Probably, but be prepared to handle any aggression.
Put one of them in another tank or the sump. How would you recommend to handle the aggression?
So you’re telling me that a fish can stay in the sump with the skimmer, etc???Put one of them in another tank or the sump.
They may do fine, especially since they are both young. 60 gallons cam be fine temporarily but for 2 territorial species, you have to plan accordingly
Also how long should one of them stay in the sump?Put one of them in another tank or the sump.

Most small fish can stay in a sump compartment for a short time... Look at the tanks they are in at the fish store. And no, I would not put it in the same chamber as a pump.So you’re telling me that a fish can stay in the sump with the skimmer, etc???
Until you rearrange the tank to help them establish new territory. Do some research...Also how long should one of them stay in the sump?

Oh, I was thinking it was 36" long... That very well may be too small depending on how quickly they grow.24x24
Okay yeah for the other tank which I plan on buying it will be longer rather than tallerOh, I was thinking it was 36" long... That very well may be too small depending on how quickly they grow.

So would just one work you think and if so which one is best?I would not do two tangs in a small cube like that. The gallons isn’t the issue, it’s territory and swimming space.
Tomini, definitelySo would just one work you think and if so which one is best?
Okay that is good to know because this afternoon I went to my local fish store and they had one so now I don’t have to order online which is better for me.Tomini, definitely

Well I don’t know where you are located but I am here in Jacksonville and it was about 1-2 inches long just by sight and also it was written. It might be okay as a grow out tank. You may see aggression to other tank mates. It is far from ideal space.
I would probably just go with whatever I can find that is super tiny. If they are both the same size then tomini. I haven’t seen a 1 inch tomini in awhile but I suppose I also haven’t been looking.
