They're two different corals. Euphyllia in general share certain characteristics, one of them being that most of them have either a "wall" form or a "branching" form.

The difference between your two corals will be down to the different shapes of the ends of the tentacles. A hammer-frog is somewhat in between the ends of a frogspawn (the 'hammer' is somewhat truncated), whereas a true hammer will have that much more distinctive "hammer" or "anchor" shape to the ends of the tentacles.
