I’m usually really good at testing and do it almost every other day. Right now I don’t have anything in my tank other than my rbta and a few polyps of zoas and like 5 fish. The issue is when I have to travel for work and don’t have anyone to maintain it. I’m over 1k in coral purchases and need to save some money before I can drop another 1k to automate the process

You'll get there. It's a process. Nothing good happens fast in reefing.

I use dollar store gel glue works fine for me
I agree. Not just in price, but they also have single use size ones that have like 6 tubes for a buck. If I am doing multiple frags, I’ll use a bigger tube, but the smaller single use ones are great for just 1-2 frags.
