I've got 3 watchman gobies (and 3 shrimp) in my display tank. I'm thinking about taking my starry blenny from the frag tank and putting him in the display.

They should be ok, depends on the attitude of the gobies. Worst case the gobies will run the blenny away from their burrows.

I think it depends on the size difference, at least a little bit.

In theory though, a starry blenny shouldn't see these gobies as a threat because they don't occupy a habitat that the starry blenny would want. He'd want a burrow/hole that's NOT right on the sand whereas those gobies will want to be actually on the sand/under rocks.

Having said that though, starry blennies are mean and it wouldn't shock me if one attacked a goby.

Most definitely, I had to pull one from my 120 for killing a fairy wrasse. I watched it chase her all around the tank for 2 days straight.
