Wild Bill’s 125 gallon build

Hi all, been reefing for a year (unsuccessfully? Successfully? Depends who you ask) been running a 16 gallon biocube with clownfish and now a heavily heathy aptasia tank. That said. For the last year I’ve been buying, plotting, and planning my build. So far here is my build and my progress!!

I’m running a 39 gallon sapphire trigger sump, Red Sea reefer skimmer, along with 72” ai blade LED

I’m trying to be efficient, and tied the rodi system directly to my sewer line and will do the same for an exchange pump so the waste salt water on water changes are automatically pumped to the sewer line

The 125g tank from what I can tell is an aqueon tank… beat up and melted from a previous turtle from a different owner. Can’t wait to plumb it, and aqua scape it!

Week 2 of my 125! Any thoughts on the aqua scape?!

Totally forgot to mention the original 125 unfortunately blew a seam and leaked 40 gallons of water. Ugh. Got a new 125 and had to restart on plumbing.

Latest build with the reef rock! Have a yellow tang. Sailfin tang. Tomini tang. Two clowns and lawnmower blenny. Down the road coral and plenty of other fish!!!!

Finished my automatic water changer. This is probably my proudest part of my project. The RO/DI drains waste water directly into the sewer. Now wate water from my display also drains into the sewer resulting in zero lifting of water. Salt is my biggest job.
