Oddly, mine colored up within a few days after dropping them down from about 8" below the light to ~20" below the lighting (175W Ushios 14K's on electronics). They are still not as vibrant as when I got them, but look much better. The green slit mouth and skirt are starting to look more green and the purple is less brown than it was. I'm not running a skimmer on the 120. They did hold more purple in my SPS tank with an MR2 skimmer...
