I get my pods from https://aquariumdepot.com/amphipods-copepods-1000/ they are larger and the fish love them. Most will be pregnant and ready to populate a tank.

@AlgaeBarn website has a nice explanation why they sell mix of different lifecycle stages. In summary so when you buy pods, you don't have to keep buying pods as often

I did. Compare to 15 years ago it seems lifeless. I kept it with the hope of boosting my tanks inoculation.Look up GARF Grunge.
