Who else is excited for the new Avatar movie, TheWay of the Water?

I saw the original in the theater almost 13 years ago and have seen it MANY times since, including a couple weeks ago in the theater again, this time with my kids. It was groundbreaking when released and is still amazing to watch. What I loved about it originally was how much inspiration for the creatures in the film was obviously taken from our oceans. And now the new film is apparently centered around the ocean. I can't wait!

So was the re release only in 3D? I wanted to see it but I could not stand the idea of wearing 3D glasses over my glasses.

I am looking forward to the new movie, between this and Dune 2 I am excited to see them.

Yes, at least for us it was only in 3D.
I'm with you in that I'd rather see non-3D versions of any movie but that's because I can't see 3D. I'm legally blind in one eye so my brain doesn't really use that eye. They tell me I have no depth perception but I wouldn't know since I've been like this since birth.

But it was funny watching my 11 year old keep reaching out at the screen trying to grab everything that was floating by her.

When is Dune 2 coming out??? The first was another movie that was just beautiful to watch in its own way.

The last time heard Dune 2 will come out in October of next year, I cannot stand that kinda of waiting for a movie, it should have come out last month or for Christmas.

I believe that movie theaters are missing out on a great opportunity, I would love to this the first Lord Of Rings in a theater, for some reason I never watched them when they came-out. I know some theaters are doing it. There are som many great movies that could be released, get the advertising budget up and let people know about it like they did for Avatar.

I saw the original Dune on cinema in one or the biggest theater in Ca. the theater only sold out 4 times prior to Dune coming out, it nearly sold it out.
